Our QS9000 Registration Audit was successfully completed in May 2002.
At Engineering & Cycle, Quality Assurance is the most important element in our manufacturing operations. By utilizing
QS9000, our quality assurance programs continue to improve and refine all aspects of our manufacturing
operations.
SPC (Statistical Process Control) reporting is part of our program. Inspection occurs at every stage of manufacturing. With a fully documented and traceable inspection procedures, we are able to deliver high quality parts on a consistent basis.
Certification records are maintained for all mil-spec materials, hardware, and processes. Precision Measuring instruments are periodically calibrated by approved specialists. Certifications of Conformance for manufacturing methods, as well as certification for materials and outside processes are provided per customer requirement.
Our Coordinate Measuring Machine, as well as all calibrated instruments, are kept available to all personnel to assure the highest level of accuracy is maintained at all workstations.
We are driven by the need to satisfy our customers' demands. In addition to quality, "On Time Delivery" is equally important. The effect of a late delivery on a shipment lot can have a catastrophic effect on subsequent operations. When we commit to a delivery schedule, our customers' expectations must be met.
In early 1994, Engineering & Cycle was driven by one of our primary customers to tighten our organization and become an accredited vendor. The rating criteria is based on Quality Index (Total shipments rejected vs. Total shipments received), Delivery Index (Total shipments late vs. Total shipments received) and Service Index (Total Service Points). Every quarter since 1994, E&C has received an ITQ total rating of 100.00 - a perfect
score!
